Course Features

The Live it Up 8km race is a loop that winds through incredibly scenic Rathtrevor Park. Walkers are welcome as long as completion time is less than 1.5 hours. Baby joggers are not permitted in the race for insurance and safety reasons.

The course includes
  • All kilometres marked along the route.
  • Pit toilets along route.
  • Medical services on the route and at the finish line.

The 8km race starts at Tigh-Na-Mara Resort. The start and finish line will be located in front of the Conference Building on the resort. The racers will exit right onto Resort Way. At Rath Road the runners will turn right and enter into Rathtrevor Park. We will be on the main road until the entry gate to parking lots 2 to 5. We will turn right at this gate and run along the access road until we hit the end of parking lot 5. At that point we will enter into the trail system winding through the park and campground to return to the main road. The race will go back the way it came along Rath Road and Resort Way, finishing back at Tigh-Na-Mara Resort.

Aid Stations
  • There will be one water station and First Aid station along the course at approximately the 4km mark.
